2020 was a hard year, and six months into the pandemic, the team at Georgian Bay Bride wanted to see if we could give folks a chance to celebrate everything that they'd been through together. We wanted to put together a memorable evening, bring together talented local professionals, and give couples a chance to look into each other's eyes (the way they'd been doing for half a year) -- just in a different spot than at the kitchen table.
We were lucky enough to partner with Sumac + Salt, hyper-local culinary experienceshowcasing the best of Grey, Bruce and Simcoe County. Joel and Hannah provided a stunning seasonal meal with seven meticulously planned and plated courses. The dinner was hosted at the Good Family Farms, an organic farm specializing in regenerative agricultural practices near Meaford.
Euclid Design Co (hey, it's me!) provided seasonal, local floral arrangements for a few of the couples, and Brittany Groux, a Stayner-based stationer, provided hand-lettered place settings and custom menus for the evening. Frances Beatty Photography was on hand to capture the beauty of the meal and the company.
